Winning is great, sure, but if you are really going to do something in life, the secret is learning how to lose.
Hello friends, it’s time to Meet the Blogger. Today we are here with a young talented mind of Indian blogging fraternity. Rohan Chaubey is the founder of Be Rohanalicious aka RohanChaubey.com. He is also the brand ambassador of America’s fastest growing company and trusted consultant for some Mumbai-based startups.
Rohan helps different brands to craft epic content, win at social media, create brand awareness and build their community of brand enthusiasts. Though, he has gone through many breakdowns in last few months, but making them breakthroughs was his choice. Rohan believes that “all of us are born to lead” and invites his readers to lead with him and not follow.
In this interview with WPB360, he has discussed about the importance of being active on social media, best techniques for a beginner to boost traffic flow and how to manage blogging while studying. He has also discussed about his upcoming book “Make People Want You“. We are very much thankful to Rohan for taking time to answer the questions. So without much ado, let’s jump into the discussion now.
Manidipa: Hi Rohan, welcome to WPB360. Could you please share a bit about yourself?
Rohan: Manidipa, Thank you for inviting me for an interview. It’s an honor and deep joy to be able to share my passion which is so personal to me with your blog audience.
I’m a love ninja and I’m on a journey to “Be Rohanlicious”. I’m the author of the book “Make People Want You” which I have finished writing. Me and my editors, copy editor, and beta readers are optimizing it to make it ready for the launch. I’m a blogger too. I’ve been associated with many small businesses. I help them craft content, win at social media, create brand awareness and build their community of brand enthusiasts.
You can know more about me at the about page of my blog.
Manidipa: When and how did you get introduced to blogging?
Rohan: Me and one of my friends discovered Blogger.com and we created our blogs there. We wanted to help our fellow classmates to learn Java programming. But I never knew I would be so inspired to keep blogging that I ended up helping brands and writing a book under my name.
Manidipa: What does “Be Rohanlicious” means?
Rohan: “Be Rohanlicious” is a life mantra. ROHANLICIOUS stands for values me and my community lives by – Real, Optimistic, Honest, Admirable, Nice, Leader, Inspiring, Creative, Insightful, Opportunistic, Unique, and Selfless.
We don’t claim we are Rohanlicious, but we are on a journey to “Be Rohanlicious”. That means we try to live by those values and work towards creating a life we love.
A lot of blogs claim to have tons of followers. But it’s the opposite at “Be Rohanlicious”. I don’t have any followers; only friends and leaders. And I always invite my readers to lead with me and not follow. Because I deeply believe all of us are born to lead. I can never see my army playing small or trying to join the herd. We’re all here for PURE domination. We all are equally important. And my mentor says, “Leaders create leaders, not followers.”
Manidipa: Being a student, how do you manage your daily blogging routine?
Rohan: Being a student as well as a serious blogger is tough. I assume the situation is same for people who have a full time job and they also have a blog to manage.
I get up early at 6 A.M. to read my academic books and then I’ve college from 9 A.M. to 5 P.M. In the evening, I write, check my social media feeds and work on my star clients. Most of the stuff I do is 100% free. But when I say “star clients” I’m referring to those who want me to help their brands craft epic content, win at social media, create brand awareness and build their community of brand enthusiasts.
It’s hard to manage all, but certainly possible.
Manidipa: In this young age, you have been handling multiple activities including studies, blogging and your family responsibilities. What are your ways of managing all with ease?
Rohan: I’m always occupied with something. I’m either reading books, writing articles, studying at school, helping at home or sleeping.
I strongly believe our morning moods affect our whole day. So to have the best day, we must have the best morning. I start my day the right way which helps me to manage everything with ease.
Researchers have found that quality of our performance and productivity depends on how we start our day. I start my day by praying, sending positive affirmations to my friends and family. This helps me to install the right mood to carry throughout the day.
Manidipa: What are the strengths you think have helped you to become a better blogger? Do you wish to learn any new skill that you think will help you further?
Rohan: I’m an Introvert. My superpowers are reading, listening and learning. I think these are my greatest strengths which have helped me at blogging.
I’m working on my public speaking skills. I intend to use my writing and speaking skills only to inspire, educate, and inform.
Manidipa: How do you drive traffic to your blog? What are the best techniques for a beginner to boost traffic flow?
Rohan: I receive decent traffic and I’m very happy with the results. I suggest beginners to use social media to drive traffic. Later, they can learn SEO, email outreach, etc.
Manidipa: How important it is for you to remain active on social media?
Rohan: My major blog traffic comes from social media. My best subscribers have found me on social media. I’m very active on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.

Manidipa: Rohan, your Book “Make People Want You”, is releasing soon. Could you please share a glimpse about that for the readers?
Rohan: My Book “Make People Want You – Discover proven secrets that successful people use to increase influence and likeability” is in the last stage of making. Me, my two editors, copyeditor and five beta readers are working tirelessly to make this book epic.
This book is for everyone who wants to achieve personal greatness, build a professional network than creates opportunities, dominate their sector, rise above the noise, elevate their (personal or business) brand and be an agent of change.
Manidipa: How was your experience of writing your Book? Please share some tips for people who want to write a Book for the first time.
Rohan: For me it was not easy. It is difficult than writing a 1000 words blog post.
I had all the right reasons to quit writing my book, but I chose to continue. My dad suffered through a hemorrhagic attack which paralyzed him, I lost my grandmother, failed in math class and had to take care of my paralyzed dad when mom was out of city; I remember I had exams then.
God has been SO good to us. I used my pain to fuel my purpose. I was able to turn my breakdown into breakthrough.
I firmly believe – “Life is not happening to us, it is happening for us. When you REALLY want something, the whole universe conspires to make it happen.”
Manidipa: What are the non-monetary benefits you get from blogging?
Rohan: Blogging has helped me to learn new skills and reach places where I would not have reached otherwise.
I feel contented knowing how many people I have reached and how my content has touched their lives.
Not to mention, the personal brand and community I have created. Blogging also helped me to become one of the brand ambassadors of America’s fastest growing company and trusted consultant for some Mumbai-based startups.
The people I’ve been able to work with humbles me every single day. Even incredible than the people I’ve worked with are the goals we’ve achieved together.
Manidipa: What do you love to do when you get some time for yourself?
Rohan: I love reading. Apart from reading, I enjoy learning any new skills. I recently learned to make pizza and design infographics. Visiting hill stations and a walk in the woods is always fun.
Manidipa: So far, which is the most awesome moment in your blogging journey?
Rohan: There are so many; can’t pick one. But if I had to choose one, then I will choose the time when my mentor messaged me asking to help him. What can be more amazing than your mentor messaging YOU asking for help? 😀
Manidipa: What are your next blogging plans?
Rohan: I want to make my book reach to everyone who wants to leave the planet better than they found it.
In the age when everyone is trying to get more fame and followers, my humble motive is to create leaders and make them lead at what they do the best using social media and blogging.
Manidipa: Please share some tips for the young generation who want to get started with blogging.
Rohan: Maybe my quotes will inspire multi-passionate young minds like me who want to lead with heart, hustle and humility –
“The world accepts normal, but never admires it.” – Rohan Chaubey.
“In school you learn that you’re stupid if you fail, but you’re being lied to.” – Rohan Chaubey.
Blogging is like war; it’s easy to begin, but very hard to stop. 😉
May your purpose inspire you to be courageous in your blogging journey. Be different, many will try to tear you down. By being different you’ll disrupt the industry and change the rules of the game which will intimidate those who are not serving with their hearts out loud. I wish you outrageous success!
Thanks again Rohan for sharing your insights with the readers of WPB360. In case you want to know any other thing related to his blogging journey, please feel free to ask in the comments below.
