In this article, I will share step by step process to add an addon domain in Bluehost cpanel and host multiple websites in a single hosting package.
Steps to add addon domain in Bluehost
First of all log in to your Bluehost cpanel with the provided link in your first mail received from Bluehost, after purchasing the domain name and hosting plan.
You can log-in to cpanel via yourdomain.com/cpanel link or the FTP link mentioned in your mail.
After successful login to your cpanel, scroll down below and find out DOMAIN section. You will find various sections under this like subdomains, Addon domains, Parked domains, Redirects and few more options.
Click on Addon domain option. You will find below screen.
Now, provide your domain name which you want to host under Bluehost. Don’t use WWW or HTTP, simply type the nacked domain name. As soon as you provide domain name and press the TAB button from keyboard, you can see other details will get populated.
Provide a suitable password & choose a user name. After successful adding of this domain, you will use these credentials to access your new domain dashboard. You can also take help of PASSWORD GENERATOR button, to create a random password for you.
After providing every data, click on the ADD DOMAIN button. Your domain will be added to your hosting package.
The next step is to change the name server of the domain.

How to remove addon domain from Bluehost cpanel
This is one of the common question as many bloggers try to test with some niche and start a website. But later, when they realized that they can’t continue the website further, then they decide to remove the site and may try a new one.
In Bluehost cPanel, Go To >> Domains >> Addon Domain and scroll below. You can find the added domain details. Click on the REMOVE link.
It will ask you whether you want to remove the linked FTP account as well or not. By default it will be checked only. No need to do any changes here. Simply click on remove.
Your addon domain will be removed successfully and you will be able to see the success message as well.
How to redirect an addon domain
Now, you might be redirect to your existing domain to a newly created website, rather than deleting. That is also possible to do. If you have followed the previous part, then in the same addon domain section besides REMOVE link, you will find another link MANAGE REDIRECTION.
Click on that link. It will take you to the next screen where you can provide your target domain name. Simply click on the save button after that. In future if you want to remove the domain redirection, you can come this area and click on the Disable Redirection button.
